Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data bzzbunchfeedflick.forum collects, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have.

1. Who we are

bzzbunchfeedflick.forum is published by Kestrel Row Publishing Ltd, Third Floor, Tallow Yard, 27 Fennick Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6HR, United Kingdom. Kestrel Row Publishing Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

2. What we collect

We collect very little. When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, topic and message you enter, together with the time you sent it. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which include the IP address of the device making the request, the page requested, the browser type and the referring page. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key bzz-cookie-choice so that we do not ask you again on every page. If you accept analytics cookies, aggregated usage data such as which pages are viewed and for how long is collected as described in the cookie policy.

3. Why we process it and on what basis

Contact form data is processed so we can reply to you; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence and, where you have ticked the consent box, your consent. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available. Analytics cookies and any functional cookies are set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

4. Cookies

Essential storage is used to remember your cookie choice. Analytics and functional cookies are set only if you choose to accept them. A full table of cookie categories, purposes and durations, along with instructions for opting out in each major browser, is in the cookie policy.

5. Who else sees your data

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: a web hosting provider that stores the site and its server logs, an email provider that handles messages sent through the contact form, and, where you have consented, an analytics provider. Each acts under a contract that limits its use of the data to providing the service to us. Where a provider stores data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the UK's international data transfer mechanisms, including adequacy regulations and the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. Your data protection regime

We are based in the United Kingdom, so the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply to our processing, and the Information Commissioner's Office is our supervisory authority. If you are in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation gives you equivalent rights, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority. If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information within the meaning of that law.

7. How long we keep it

Contact form messages and our replies are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last exchange, then deleted, unless we need them longer to deal with a dispute or a legal obligation. Server logs are kept for up to ninety days. Your cookie choice remains in your browser until you clear it or change it. Aggregated analytics data, where collected, is retained for the period set out in the cookie policy.

8. Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased where there is no good reason for us to keep it, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

This site is a general-interest publication and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and material changes will be flagged on the home page for a reasonable period.
